Well we finally have the paint and I have had the border for more than a year now and I want to get started......but that isn't my job.. Doug is going to help the grandma's and Tammy paint then Grandma Bishop is all about the border....
I guess we should start furniture shopping for real and stop the looking. Just in case no one could guess-there will be Elmo everywhere for this kid, I hope he or she likes sesame street. If anyone knows of a fabric store where I can get Elmo fabric for curtains let me know.......
Posted by karen at February 26, 2004 06:55 PMI think Walmart has elmo fabric. If not, JoAnn's across from the mall surely would!
Posted by: megan at March 1, 2004 12:10 PMI checked both Walmart stores and the Rag Shop--nothing--not even Sesame Street. Maybe we need to ask at JoAnn's or the Rag Shop to see if we can order anything Elmo (since the closest we've come is flannel Sesame Street in JoAnn's at Willow Street).
Posted by: Tammy at March 1, 2004 12:39 PMDid you ever find any elmo fabric?
Posted by: Carrie at November 10, 2004 06:01 PMWe did find the fabric at a local store, Flower and Craft Warehouse. You can see pictures of it here.
I am also looking for the Elmo material. That last posting was a long time ago. Is there still any out there. The blue background with red Elmo.
Thank you.
Lenny
I am not sure if the fabric is still there. We have not been there for a long time. If you are refering to the bedding, that was a set that we bought off of e-bay, and not at a fabric store. We had a friend make the curtains from the material that is pictured in the link above.
