I will not be going to the doctor until 11/24 so we will not know for sure how far along I really am until then. The nurse I talked with on 10/21 said that I was about 4 weeks based on the date I gave her, but I think that I am more like 6 - 8 weeks now which means that I will be almost 12 weeks when I go on the 24th. We will have to wait and see.
I feel like I could sleep all day if I could. As a matter of fact I took a nap when I got home today...
I even had a dream, that its going to be twins. How scary would that be?!? In all reality I would not mind having twins but not first. There are many other strange things going on with me and my body--I get really hungry, sleep all the time (when I can) and I have had a cold for over a month and the nurse said that may be my "morning sickness". I have been very lucky so far--I have not gotten sick at all but I have had some close calls. Doug and I will continue to update my (our) progress.
So.. By now you have figured out that we are going to be parents. It's been some time coming and now there is an end in sight. We are both so excited and happy to be going through this now.
Although I'm sure Karen's feelings on that will change from time to time, as she experiences new and wonderful things. Much like John and Claire did (Thanks guys... Sorry to steal the idea, but I must keep a good thing going... we will be updating this website and things happen. Keep you eye on the image at the top of the page, it will change as the weeks go by. Supposedly that is what the baby looks like inside Karen. Scary isn't it? Check back often and drop us a line every now and again to see how things are going. Thank you for sharing in our joy.
