Happy 5 monthiversary!

Yesterday, Sarah turned 5 months. It's been a wonderful time, even beyond my wildest imagination. Karen has been asking me for a few weeks now when we can start giving Sarah "real food". She has been getting rice cereal at night for over a month now, and we recently upped that to twice a day about 2 weeks ago. She has done really well with it, and in fact, get's cranky when she doesn't get her cereal. She has us so well trained. I decided that last night would be a good time to start giving her some of the "real food".

Gerber has an organic line of foods under the name Tender Harvest that we both decided we would use exclusively while Sarah is still on baby food. We started with the recommended bananas. I don't think she really liked them. She kept making strange faces as we were shoveling it in, but continued to eat. Eventually, Karen had to mix some of it in with her oatmeal cereal so she would eat more. I have some video of the adventure that I will post once I get it edited.

Guess we'll have to see how she does with the bananas tonite.

Pictures!

Once again, I have done a mass photo upload. All of the photos from Sarah's trip to Tennessee, her presents from grandma and grampy's trip to Hawaii, MU's homecoming and halloween are up in the gallery.
