While I was home sick today, missing my wife and daughter since they are enjoying a basketball game, I decided to do some catching up and get the last 3 months worth of pictures of of Sarah. You can view them in the gallery.
It's been a long time since I've posted (and uploaded pictures, I know). So much has changed with Sarah over the past couple of weeks, let along months. She now freely rolls back and forth, goes from sitting to laying down by flopping onto her head and then scooting her legs out from under her. She is also very close to crawling, infact, she will push with her feet to get to a toy or bottle that we sit in front of her. She just needs to get her big belly off the floor and she will be unstoppable.
Sarah has also started "talking" a bit. She has been babbling for a while, and this really picked up a month ago. She can now say mama, papa, dada, baba (bottle), and the best of all, Elmo. Yes, she says Elmo. Her lightswitch cover in her room is Elmo (like everything else) and today she looked up at it and said Elmo, not just once, but again later for Karen. It wasn't her first word, but close.
Congrats to....everyone it appears..... There are babies everywhere these days. Kim and Stefan had their son on January 22-Congrats... There are many babies to come this year, 6 more I believe (that I know of so far)... As I said congrats, if anyone needs any supplies (pack-n-play, clothes, anything) just let us know....
It seems like yesterday that we brought Sarah home...now she can sit on her own, babble like crazy, hold her own bottle, sleep for ever some nights, and even put her feet in her mouth. She is such a big girl!! I was briefly thinking the other day what it would be like to have another one....but only briefly. There will be new pictures up this weekend from Christmas--I promise.
