Monday night was Sarah's 2 year well baby checkup. She has continued to grow at her steady pace, but below "the curve" The doctor isn't concerned because she is maintaining her curve, she will just be short.
Her 2 year stats are height - 30" <5%, weight - 23.5lbs 15% and head circumference - 19" or 60%. She now drops back to yearly visits.
The doctor was also pleased with all of her other development including teeth, speach, motor skills, etc.
Today is Sarah's second birthday, and she started it out with a bang. She woke up at 4:00 this morning throwing up. I'm not sure what it was, but she is still sick as I am writing this. She has been at school all week, so it's possible she picked something up there. Last night she was running around outside and seemed fine. I just hope this doesn't end up cancelling her party planned for tomorrow. We'll have to wait and see how she feels in the morning. Hopefully it's just a quick bug.
On a lighter note, she has been doing really well lately. Her vocabulary grows every day, and she loves repeating everything I say and do. She has started to put her own socks and shorts on, although she usually gets two feet in one whole in her shorts. The good thing is that she wants to try/do everything for herself. She is very independent.
It should be interesting to see what the next year will bring.
